I was diagnosed 8 months ago at 55.
I had suffered with sciatica for years so maybe those were precursors.

I worry for my grown children but there is only one other case of MS in our family and it is pretty distant.

Oh yes, I just meant the MS could have been there for a while.

About 18 months ago I had double vision, extreme exhaustion, dizziness, loss of hearing, memory loss, confusion, weakness, etc. I went through CT scans, blood work, evoked potentials, and several MRIs. Finally a lumbar puncture diagnosed MS. I am Avonex and doing pretty well.

AVONEX is good stuff I was hoping to hear from someone in their late 60's or early 70's telling they are still functioning with MS I retired at 55yrs and havent seen to much worsening of disability I been concerned as what is going to happen when I get to 73yrs
Keep in touch and GOOD LUCK
