Hi, I went to the surgeon last week and I am set up to have my Gall Bladder removed November 13th. I have several stones in the Gall Bladder and in the duct, and have had nausea and loose stools for about four years. The Gall Bladder is also enlarged. My Dr. said he will start out and try to do the Laproscope, but may have to cut to take it out which would require a longer stay in the hospital, and more time away from work, (4 weeks). I'm hoping they can do it Laproscopic. He said it was a 50/50 chance he would have to cut. The Dr. is very good and he operated on three of my co-workers and came highly recommended. Has anyone else had the major operation of removal of the Gall Bladder and if so what kinds of things can I expect?:)
