Hi All,

My father suffered a stroke 6 days agao, having been to the hospital we discovered thathe has lost a quarter of his eyesight (bottom half of the left eye).

Ive looked at posts on some forums which say that if its only a partial loss of eyesight in one eye, it may well be restored in around a month, does anyone have any experience of this- if so what are the possible treatments available and is it likely to be restored given that its been longer than 24 hours?

Thanks in advance,
Ismail

My fiance also suffered a stroke which caused him to lose some fields of vision. His neuro doctor told him he didn't see any reason why it wouldn't heal itself but couldn't give us a time frame. We've spoken to other people in similar situations where it had taken a few months to as much as a few years.
