I am so happy it is my birthday soon and I was thrown an early suprise birthday party. It was a small party, only 4 of us but I don't like big crowds so it was perfect for me! I had a cake and balloons and a musical birthday candle!! I had such a great time!!! :D :bouncing: :D

I am usually quite suspicious of people and I very rarely open up around any one except my family and Si. BUT THIS TIME I DID OPEN UP & IT WAS GREAT!

The new friend I have is called Zoe and she is wonderful, she always thinks the best of people. I have known her for ages, since March-ish time, but I have always been trying to convince myself that she would never like me and then that would make me dislike her cuz I would think she hated me. But it was all in my head, she has never down anything to harm me, and I can really chill out now becuz I know I can make friends. :cool:

I am going ferret walking with her tomorrow, and then shopping! I am so excited. I hope I can keep the convosation going, we have lots in common, but i get shy easily.

:blob_fire I am sooooooooooooooo excited, it has been almost six years since I had a proper female companion to hang out with! I am so happy and just wanted to share this with everyone!

Crimson I am so pleased for you, being some one who lost my best friend I know how it feels to be alone.

Don't worry about the conversation just be yourself, you might find Zoe is nervous as well.

Im sorry you lost your best friend the last bestfriend i had was such an evil vindictive b**** that i lost faith in people. you will find someone much more deserving of your friendship. maybe right away if you are ready or mayb you need some time to get to know yourself better like i did. i never thought i would have another friend but i do!!

Crimson, this is wonderful! If you are the Crimson from Britain you sound soooo great now! Things will ONLY continue to get better. You have obviously turned a corner! Sounds like maybe previously you thought so poorly of yourself and this kept you from reaching out to Zoe because you thought she could never like someone as "terrible" as you, and that maybe now you think better of yourself so you gave it a shot! I am so happy for you.
