can progesterone levels predict a positive pregnancy test? I had an intrauterine insemination on 10/20 and my progesterone level is 22. What does that mean? Thanks for any input

A level of 22 confirms that you ovulated -- and that's a good ovulation number. It also confirms that your progesterone is high enough to potentially sustain a pregnancy. It does not predict pregnancy. :)

Best wishes!!! Hope you get a BFP this cycle!

I had my first IUI on 10/25 and got my progesterone test today and it was 23. My doctor said that was very good and that it would sustain a pregnancy but made it clear it was not an indicator that I was pregnant. Unfortunately there is no short cut for the 2ww. Best of luck and I will be hoping for a BFP for you!:)
