i am starting 2nd round of bravelle injections tonight. last cycle they instructed me to inject in upper outer thigh or in the abdomen and to rotate injection sites.

has anyone ever found that in the thigh works better (as far as follicle growth)? i'm just curious. i prefer injections in the abdomen because i have more flab there than the outside of my leg. But i thought i heard/read somewhere that injecting in the thigh works better. anyone else hear of this?

I just had my 2nd IUI done on 10/26. I was on Bravelle as well for this cycle. Giving the shot in the leg wasn't even an option for me. My RE told me to give the shot in my abdomen and no where else. I haven't heard that giving the shot in my thigh helps with follicle growth, though who knows...anything is possible! That would be good to know, my follicles don't like to grow. I went as far as cd26 and I only had one follicle at a size of 18.
But good luck with the injections, not so fun but it will all be worth it in the long run!!:bouncing:
