well im finally hear again.. i have been on bcp for a lil over 2 weeks and starting tomorrow morning i will begin lupron! it feels like a long time since my last ivf (bfn beta 9/9/6) so im ready for it, but last time i gained about 10lbs over 2 weeks after losing close to 15 before staring treatment, and i havent been able to lose it over this "break" so im gonna have to try to eat much better this time around.. i am positive, but my hormones may change this attitude.. is any1 else starting lupron soon?? i should be on lupron 5-10 days then an u/s day 3 and stims for about 10 days with er/et around thanksgiving give or take a few days... any1 else???? i could use some support.. i hope the 2nd time is a charm considering the first time we transferred 3 and the doc had no real reason why it didnt work, its just one of those things.. this time around they will do assisted hatching, i hope that helps... ~aimee

My sister is on clomid now, and probably Sun / Mon will have her 3rd IUI. Differences this month - she is doing the acupuncture. I pray for everyone on this 2WW this is their month!

thanks ladies ;) well i got the call today to start lupron tonite and dont finish bcp, to take it for 4 more days... has any1 else overlapped a few days of bcp and lupron ( i wasnt on bcp last time) and did their period come when u stopped the bcp?? last time i was on lupron and i think it was day 10 that i got an af, but my re told me i may get a period sooner bc i was on bcp then abruptly stopping.. this should all fall around the holidays, so im trying to time everything (my office doesnt give us a "potential" date for er) ~aimee

asprousey - good luck this time around!!! Sending you tons of sticky baby dust. :angel: :angel: For my IVF cycle, I also overlapped bcp & lupron for a few days - can't remember how many now. Are you looking into acupuncture this time as well? Can't say enough good things about it. :D

Asprousey~Looks like were both back at the same time. I took a much needed break and am back for IVF #2. I'm currently on Lupron and go for my supression check tomorrow w/ hopes of starting stims on 11/3. But to answer your question about the BCP and Lupron overlapping. Both my last cycle and this one, they have overlapped for about a week and my AF's started about 2-3 days after my last BCP.

Good luck to everyone, thought I would join in. This is my first cycle of Clomid, and I just got my HGC "trigger" shot yesterday. We are TTC naturally, as I have gotten pregnant 2 other times, only to MC. (you can read my story under TTC stats) Anyway, I have a question: My hubby is out of town about every other day, and I was told that is fine to DTD every other day, but since my trigger was yesterday, will it still be possible to get pregnant if he doesn't make it home tomorrow? We did it plenty yesterday, but he is gone now and most likely gone tomorrow, too. Any input would be great. Baby dust to all! Welcome to all the newbies, we are happy to have you!:angel:

candm, welcome back to the fun, lol.. it looks like you are just a few days ahead of me.. i stop bcp friday. and will remain on lupron, so i should start stimming middle of next week.. its nice to have someone going through it with you :)

today is the last day of bcp!! still on lupron, but i heard soon after u stop bcp af should arrive.. i hope for a quick arrival of af so i can start stimming, and move on.. the quicker the better for me... plus i know er and et will be close to thanksgiving, but i dont want it to be like the day before or after etc.. candm, how are things going with u??
