have a small knot, a bit painful on my right hip/groin area...it came about after I started having sharp pains in my leg. Also, and I'm not sure if this is related, but I had a series of small itchy red bumps on my upper right buttock earlier in the week. I visited a nurse and she said that the red bumps are just a skin irritation...that the leg pain may be a sciatic nerve but that the swollen knot was probably a lymph node and could be an STD. But she wouldn't elaborate and scheduled me with another doctor. Couldnt all these symptoms be part of one thing? The sciatica? Or perhaps an STD - but what kind? The leg pain is severe at times and it's happened before (the leg pain). I have been with the same woman for 10 months, never with anyone else, and for the most part protected...just the other night we didnt use a condom for a mere moment..but ended up grabbing one for the long haul. The lymph node swelled the day after we didn't use the condom - but the leg pain and red bumps were from before - should i be worried here???
