Hey guys I was told by my doctor about a year ago that I have what is considered a binge eating disorder (BED) he prispibed prozac and for a while it really helped, I lost nearly 20 pounds and felt better than I ever had. But over the last few weeks things haven't been going so smoothly. And slowly but surly I've found myself sneaking out of bed at night to endulge in cold leftovers until i am nearly ill with fullness.

Due to other elements in my life therapy and such treatments have been unsuccessful so please do not suggest them to me. However I am more than willing to accept other suggestions. Please help I feel like Im back at square one and once again have no control!

Are you still taking Prozac? Maybe you just need an increase.

kittywitty is right. You probably need your meds adjusted. Contact the MD/PDOC soon. You do not want to continue to do this and beat up on yourself.

I take meds for bulimia. Topamax. It has really helped a lot. If I do not take it- whammy! There are some times though when during stressful periods, I will have bouts of binges due to exterior triggers. :( Otherwise, the med really works for me.

Hang in there
