Hi everyone,
i came off my Pill in July, had a period around the 17th July. My first natural period happened on 27th September so i was expecting to have one again around the 27th October but nothing. Could i be pregnant or can my periods become irregular even if i've had a natural cycle? I don't have any of the normal pregnancy symptoms although i know it's very early days even if i am pregnant.

okay, yes you could be. However, I would think that you coming off from your pills could be the problem. You didn't have a period for like over 2 months. So, expect that that is your new norm. You may want to check with your doc. That is awfully long between cycles if you are not on the pill. You also may want to BBT to see if you are ovulating properly. Not trying to scare you, but 60 day cycles are pretty rare. I am in the same boat, but opposite...mine are too soon sometimes. 21 days. So, just even call you doc and get some advice. It will put your mind at ease and you will know what is up. They may just do a simple hormone level check. Blood test can tell. So, good luck and keep us informed! Hope this helps!:)

I went off the "pill" (nuva ring actully) May first and it took many months to be "normal" again. The suggested therory is that your not back to "normal" untill you have had two regular cycles in a row. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your replies. Yeah i'd read somewhere that it can take months for your periods to return to normal after coming off the Pill. As i only really had one month - August - without a period i was quite surprised in September when they returned and thought (stupidly maybe) that i might be able to fall pregnant quite quickly. But that's October been and gone and no AF, i did a HPT yesterday it was BFN. I'm almost 34 and worry that my age can be against me on this.
