Okay, stillnot having fun but might be on the right track somehow. Need to catch I have had symptoms that seemed like m.s. since last Nov. Fatigue, leg pain, pops in legs etc. Had a MRI of brain clean. They said anxiety so was on that for a while--then off. doc said must just be getting old w/ all my pains. Saw new doc put me on neurontin, 300 mg 3 x a day but i have been taking tylenol with that as well. So.... today got the neurontin doubled but get to add atenolol for BP. Getting another MRI toracic & Lumbar, could something show up there? Doc said doesn't think MS but something else w/ spine. Thanks for just hearing me out.

You too huh. I started having symptoms sept 25th, burning in the arms numbness tingling. Then legs spasms and a week later my whole body spasmed for 5 hours. that lasted about 10 days. My MRI came back fine and so did the spinal. I had elevated White blood count in my spinal cord though and they can't tell me why. I looked it up online and it says it could be MS. THey just did a thorasic mri and it was clear now they want a lumbar. I have had two doctor say anxiety, which is very frusterating. My Doctor told me yesterday that is wasn't. Just wanted you to know that others are dealing with the nonesense too......

Maryjean,

Your Dr is trying at least he's looking for other avenues.Yes it could be coming from thoracic or lumbar.MS is not just isolated to the neck and brain. It can effect the lower parts of the spine.
It could be pinched nerves or disk problems.Keep us posted.
