I got my blood test results from the Hydroxyprogesterone. It was elevated last time they did the test which can idicate an adrenal problem called CAH(short for some really long name) they thought I had that. Well my blood test was perfectly normal this time. They think it was elevated because I was nearing the end of a very long cycle and I was "a little" pregnant, ended up being a Chemical pregnancy. I am so happy that I don't have to worry about something else. She thinks that my problem is just that I was on birth control for 4 years and it's only been a year now that I've been off it. SHe suspects that my body should start doing what it needs to do now that I got a period on my own and it's been 13 months with no birth control. I am just happy to be healthy and if I get pregnant this month GREAT but if it takes a few more months I'm fine with that. I'm just happy to know that I'm healthy....anyway, just thought I'd update....

Oh congrats on a good test result! I am also so happy to hear that you are feeling better!:) I guess it just takes longer for some of us to get that sticky BFP! I am also awaiting some test results, but I am confident that everything will show up normal and healthy:)

I am waiting for my progesterone test results...to make sure I am ovulating. I know I was ovulating last December because I became pregnant (chemical pregnancy) so I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be now. They are just beginning the whole infertility work up on me now because I haven't become pregnant again yet. So hopefully they won't find anything wrong with me and I will get pregnant SOON!!!!:)

No I have no children. DH and I got married a year and a half ago and always thought we would wait a good two years before trying. I had been on depo but stopped as soon as I found out that it can cause all sorts of health problems. This was about 6 months before the wedding. I never went back on anything because I didn't like the way it made me feel. So I became preggers which was an oops! but we were still happy about it:) I lost that baby at 5 weeks and ever since then (except for a short break because it was so stressful for me!) we have been trying!:)
What about you??

Yes my husband and I are highschool sweethearts. I got pregnant when we were 18 (an oops) and had a daughter whom is now 7! We got pregnant again shortly after she was born (another oops) and she will be 6 in Jan. THEN we got pregnant AGAIN(yes another oops) and HE is 4 1/2! We've been trying for our 4th now for over a year. IT was sooo confusing to me why we haven't been able to conceive because we had 3 very healthy pregnancies and very healthy deliveries....ALL OOPS!!! I guess they weren't really oops..everything happens for a reason and I thank god every day that I had my 3 so young so close together. We want 5 or 6 so I am so glad we have 3 now.....

Oh that's so wonderful!:) I smiled when I read your post. You and are the same age too!
Oopsies are the best! I always hear people say...just don't think about it and it will happen...and usually it happens when you AREN'T trying. I really think there is some truth to that. But how do you NOT think about it when you feel ready to try!!! That's what I wanna know. Ugh this whole thing just really frusterates me!

It's true though....with my three that I have we didn't plan on having them..now when we finally try we've got the doctors stumped...they can't figure out why I'm not preggo yet. I just feel different this month though. I am more relaxed about it and just know that it will happen soon....How long have you been trying now?

Ishade, yay for good test results:) ! I know how you feel.......having some opps and then when you WANT to get pregnant, you can't! I would love to have a big family too, but I question my sanity for that! I'm sure your time will come soon, I have a good feeling!;)

We have been trying since last January, but we took a 3 month break over the summer because it was stressing me out so badly and because I had a trip to Florida planed in September. Now we are back at it!

well I got off the pill last October so we sort of started trying then. We weren't charting anything or timing intercourse or any of that stuff until Feb of this year...so technically it's been 13 months
