Ok so I sure the regulars of this chat board are tired of hearing questions like this, but I am bit too lazy to search the hundreds of pages to get my answers. I will be having my gallbladder removed and liver biopsy on tuesday and would like to know what to expect afterwards. What are the do's and dont's and any words of advice would be greatly appreciately. And yes it will be started at least as a laprascopic procedure. Thanks for anyones help:)

Stick to as low a fat diet as you can for about a month. Then start slowly introducing fats and spicey foods back in. This includes milk, salad dressings, fried foods, greasy foods....check the labels...if it has oil or fat in it, don't eat it...or eat very little of it. Try to walk as much as you can in the beginning to help dissipate the gas they inflate you with. If you are physically active (work out, jog, etc) be sure to ask your doc when you can resume these activities. Good luck!
