hello, feeling very low at the moment and was hoping for some advise.
my pregnancy test is still reading faint positive, i was told by hospital that i was having a miscarage on tuesday at 7wk1d but may have to go back for dc if my test says the same next week.
this is my second miscarage 1 yr apart at 6wk4d. why is this happening?
i have one child of 7yr, so they think i should'nt have anything wrong, but we have been trying for 3 yr and this keeps happening.
i ve asked if there is any tests they can do to find out why this has happened, but they dont with only 2 miscarages.
really worried now, will this happen each time i fall pregnant?
could some thing be wrong?

So sorry to hear about that. Miscarriages are the bodies natural way of releasing an unhealthy baby. The reason for most miscarriages is unknown. I am not an expert, but I have read that most doctors won't test for problems until you have had at least three.
I hope everything works out for you.

Sjj100, I am so sorry about your losses. I don't have any advice about where to go form here as far as why, or what you can do, but I would see a RE anyway, it wouldn't hurt. I can't imagine how you feel right now, but there is so much great support on this board, so please KIT.

Just keep praying. As hard as that seems at times, God is with you and will see you through this. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I agree with Blue in that it is the bodies way of responding to an unhealthy baby. Good luck, and I will pray for you too.

I am sorry for your losses as well. I agree though, miscarraiges are usually because something was wrong with the baby (chromosonally)...not you. I too had a miscarraige and it is very hurtful. Just keep trying! It will happen!

<<Hugs>> I am sorry to hear about your losses. I cannot imagine how you are feeling.
I would definitely visit a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Having two is usually not a sign of a major problem, but the fact that you have bee trying for three years and had two miscarriages is a sign that you should seek the help of a specialist.
Low progesterone is often the cause of early miscarriages and a RE will have that among other things checked.
Best wishes to you.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, I too had a m/c at 8wks back in July, I found a lot of support on the miscarriage board.
Even though this is a 2nd m/c, if you insist on testing, you will get it. I know I would. I had a D&C with my first m/c & I specifically asked the Dr to do testing on what he takes out... they normally only check to make sure it was fetal tissue, but I wanted them to check for chromosonal problems too & they did. It turns out I just had a normal miss, the Dr said that is common. If you want to have testing done, then I would speak up about it.
I am sorry you are going through this.. take care.
