hello, aynone remember me? Lots has been going on lately so haven't managed to get on much and then wheni have i have just been lurking.

Where to start, well over all atm my eatings ok. I was always throwing up (not my choice, part of my other condition) and that suddenly stopped and it left me in a real strange place, as i didn't know what to do. I was eating and keeping it down and that was alien to me.

i have been very up and down emotionaly and taken to ODing to cope, it seems i have 2 weeks normalness then 2 weeks depression, its really weird. My parents don't know but my best friend does. she even caught me goijng on a pro anna board http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

I might be on tv tomorrow, putting the word out about cfs as its awareness day, my first thoughts when i agreed was 'i am too fat for that', i cant believe that was my first and only worry :-/

Anyways, how are you all doing? Love and hugs viks xxx

HI VIK!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wave.gif

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear from you! And that you're doing pretty good. It's awesome that you are eating and that your other condition has gotten less severe! Something to celebrate. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

However, I'm sure that it's difficult to deal with emotionally. It's an entire lifestyle/change adjustment, which could be one reason for the depression. Have you seen a therapist about that? there are meds he/she can give you that REALLY help with depression!

good luck and keep us posted!!

NEVER GIVE UP

Hey viks!

I'm glad to see you again. I know how rocky recovery can be. Right when you have a good day, it's like they throw 3 bad ones. But you know what? You're getting through them and that's what matters. Like Sarah said there are a lot of medications that can help with depression. I currently take Prozac, and let me tell ya...it's really helped me. GOOD LUCK!

P.S. You're gonna be on tv???

Hey Viks! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wave.gif 'Course there are people here that remember you! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Sooo... you're gonna be on TV, huh? Can I have your autograph? http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/tongue.gif Hehehe...

Sorry you're having such a tough time at the moment. I'm sure if you spoke to your parents they would be very understanding. Living with an illness such as CFS will get anyone down at times, but with the added pressure of your eating disorder it's not surprising you're having such a difficult time. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

Take care of yourself, Viks!

Ashlee
