Hi: I am 5ft 5in 110 lbs and diabetic trying to stay off meds. through diet and exercise and I am 40!!! I am having a hard time not crossing the line (ie: eating but eating just enough to not raise my blood sugar). Anyone else have this?) I was recently told by a sports med. doctor that he thought I over exercised and that this was an eating disorder but no one can tell me how much is to much. All I know is I am getting the job done keeping my #'s down and passing my tests.
walking the line.....

Hey hon,
I don't know if anyone is 40 here, but I have talked to people that were 40 and older-you're not alone. As for how much is too much, I think it has more to deal with how you feel about your body, your weight, and your reasons for exercsing.

hi, i am not 40.....but i do consider myself to be one of the "older people" with an ED. I am bulimic and over excerise can be a sign of bulimic......you may want to read up on this. you can always hide your ed by saying it is for one thing.but deep inside it is for another reason you excerise. only you know the truth. i would sugest getting a trainer and letting him/her know..and let them give you a workout plan that is not to much and follow this and not do anything over what they give you.
when your doing this..READ, READ up on bulimic.
