I have been taking Wild Yam and Chasteberry supplements for about 10 days. I started the supplements after I was two weeks past AF and a BFN.
I have taken the supplements for about 10 days. This morning I got a BFP and plan to take another test in the morning. I am not excited though because I have gotten a BFP before and on the same day it was determined that it was a false positive. I got a BFN in the doctor's office which prompted the trial of herbal supplements.
My main question is about how to take this herbal supplement. Do I keep taking it daily or do I do a 21 day cycle. I don't have regular periods as I was diagnosed with PCOS. Yes, I have a lot of issues.
Any advice?

Well, first I would wait and confirm you are definitely pregnant. If you are, then stop taking the chasteberry ASAP, for it can cause miscarriage if you take while pregnant. It's great in regulating your cycle, but once you know your pregnant, stop taking it.
I am currently taking vitex (aka chasteberry) and for myself, I take it during my whole cycle, unless I find out I'm pregnant. Vitex can take up to 3 months to become effective, so what I do is take it the whole cycle, but once I Ovulate, then I take a lesser dose (for example I usually take 2 capsules of 400mg each from CD1 until O, after O, I take only 1) that way it's still in my system, for the next cycle. Hopefully, I'll get pregnant this time, and can stop all together.
Find out if you are for sure pregnant, I hope it's a BFP for you, how exciting....

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good HPT. I have tried the Clearly Confirm refillable kind and it is not good at all. I have received two false positives with this test. I have tried the Clearblue Easy digital and it didn't work at all.
Should I just forget the digital tests and stick with the stick with two lines? I wanted the digital because I always think I got two lines with the other tests. It is a crazy moment trying to decide exactly what I am seeing.

Last year when I found out I was pregnant with my now 5 month old dd, I used the ClearBlue Easy digital, where it will say the words PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. I took it at 13 dpo, and had no problems. I still use that now since I'm ttc again.
I can't believe you've gotten so many false positives, that's just horrible....

I may have gotten a false positive on a Clear Blue digital. Last month I took one when I was a day late and it read pregnant. I took two more that same day(after holding my pee for 4 hours:) ) of a different brand and they were BFN. Since I have low progesterone my Dr. told me I have have been pregnant and had an early miscarraige and only that test picked it up, or it may have been a false BFP, although those are very rare.
I would recommend personally First Response Early Result. You can take them early and I have never had any issues with them.

Yeah - I got the Clearly Confirm because of its refillable capabilities. I thought it would be cost effective. However, apparently they are known for their false positives. It is discouraging and hurtful. I made a complaint with the company and hopefully they will get it fixed.
So I went with EPT regular sticks because my doctor says it is the best.
My SO says to just stop testing and wait two months before taking another test. He says that we are just going to stop worrying so much about TTC and just go with the flow of things. We have a pretty active intimate life anyway. The stress levels are not healthy and those false positives does not help at all.
Good luck to everyone. By the way, I am still taking herbal supplements and vitamins.

I take this formula everyday...
2-500mg Vitex morning and evening
1-B6 100mg morning
1-B50 Complex evening
1-prenatal vitamin with iron daily
I got everything at GNC. For some reason it is easier to swallow their pills than any place else. If anything, I feel great physically. The Vitex takes awhile to get into your system so I am waiting and hoping. But not testing :)...
