I'm back again! As the title says......2 weeks and 4 days post-op UPPP surgery. I'm 37 and I gotta say, it was awful for the first 7-10 days. I didn't even feel like getting online to tell you guys about my healing progress. Along with the excruciating sore throat, I had pain on the left side of my face and ear. So I had to sleep on my right side. Luckily though, I had no bleeding. I started feeling better about the 12th day after the surgery. This it the 18th day since my surgery and my throat is still a little swollen and sore. And I have this one stitch that just won't dissolve. I started eating solid food yesterday. I had lasagna!!! MMMMMMMMMM! It was soooo good! The fact that the noodles are soft made swallowing very easy.

Well, I hope you all are doing well. For those of you who are in the first stages of recovery.......I wish you all the best. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. Eat lots of popsicles and jello. I know it will hurt like heck to swallow, but you must stay hydrated.
