View Full Version : Does it mean that CIS is in my endocervical canal?

Sorry, one more question!

My Pap report states:

SOURCE: ENDOCERVICAL

...Does this mean that the CIS is in my endocervix? And is it standard to take a smear from the endocervical canal when my previous Paps were normal? Gosh, I guess I have lots of questions. (Maybe am just a little bit TOO nervous about tomorrow's appt!?!)...

Again, I thank you.

I wish I had an answer for you! My doc just told me that she thought my CIS was in the canal, so that's why we're going for the CKC next week. I told her I bascally didn't care how much of my cervix she takes out as long as I can get that magical phone call saying that the pathologist thinks my margins are clear. Ack... for this all to be over!!
