my mother is 74 and had a stent put in 1 month ago. She has had internal bleeding and is on her 22nd unit of blood. We stopped the plavix and asprin and were told it could cause a clot in her stent. She is now having a irregular heart beat. Is that a sign that her stent is having problems.

I know nothing about the irregular heart beats, but have you asked the doctors directly? I ask as many questions as possible whenever we see the doctor.
