hi everyone, i was told i had cfs 14 years ago by my gp,since then i,ve also got hypothiriodism,megablastic animia,arthritis,depression,migranes,vir tigo,and many more things only now when i go to gp because i dont feel well all i get is thats because of cfs iam not getting any treatment for cfs and i am sick and tired of it all. now at 38 and having no life for 14 years when does this thing go away does any body know......

:wave: Hi M. what kind of test has the good ole doc ran? Are you on thyroid med for your thyroid? did he also check your t-3 and t-4? They are your thyroid also.. What other symptoms do you have? Swollen glands? Fevers? knee pain? There are so many virus's out there and the ones that they mostly check for for CF is Epstein Barr Virus and Cytomeglovirus. Have you been tested for those? Sometimes if you have those and take like Valtrex and eat better you will get your immune system back up to feeling alot better....

thank for replying i have had loads of tests couldnt tell you what i was offered physio at a cfs clinic which was miles away from where i live and was told i would be there all day the thought of this was terrifing i just didnt have the strength to go

Hi m.newgent I also have a underactive thyroid, hashi's and arthritis and I am in pain every day I have pain in my ribs that makes me cry!!

I feel so weak its no fun I also have a little one and I know how hard it can be.

hi mandy, i have hypothroidism for 12 years everything seemed to come at once, i have always suffered from depression since 15 on meds for it but i had a hard life,it seemed like i just got my life together and cfs struck, theres no help out there and my d.l.a form is late going back because i just cant face it.i only get 16.00 aweek and wander if its worth putting my self through the hassle of filling it in.thanks for responding take care maria
