Hello , for well over a month ive been having symptoms like chest pain (it seems to revolve in the part of the chest near the hital , the middle of the chest and the sides sometimes if I rub it the pain gets worse ) fast / slow pulse arm pain etc. I went to my gp she had my blood pressure taken my pulse also and felt my chest then listened with the steth. She said I wasnt having a heart attack etc. and I assume obviously did not hear a mumur or should would have said something. I wind up checking my pulse endlessly and thinking (Oh my god its weak) And another thing is , when I breathe feels cool in my mouth / throat dunno. Was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on this. Thanks.

If a heart condition is ruled out, then yup probably anxiety. My heart races, flutters, and pounds, CAN"T STAND IT. It feels like the end of the world. But I know that it is anxiety, so thats the way i deal with it.

Axniety can really screw with out bodies. I have been dealing with the racing heart, palpitations, and chest/back pains for a while now. Apparently my heart ckecks out fine, but everytime I feel it pounding in my chest I get so scared! Anxiety is so powerful! I am in therapy now trying to overcome it, but I know this will be something that I will deal with forever.
You are not alone!
Maybe you would benefit from some meds, like a beta blocker or SSRI?

I just came to the computer to ask a question about heart sensations and I came across this post. I get heart palpitations, racing heart beat, and chest pain all over my chest. I really think I could kick this anxiety if it wasn't for the heart sensation. I'm getting to the point where I'm afraid to go anywhere or do anything if a hospital is close at hand. It's a horrible way to live. My doc has assured me also that my heart is fine but he has offered to put me on a event monitor which I think I'm going to do for hopefully a little peace of mind.

Can anxiety really do all these things to us?

Apparently anxiety can really cause all of these symptoms. I would recommend getting the event monitor. I did it and they found PVCs and tachycardia, nothing serious. Dr. suggested a beta blocker if I was not dealing well with the symptoms. I havent used the beta blocker, but I am now considering one bc I am scared to go out and do things now. It is so horrible that I am scared to live my life! I know in my head that these sensations wont kill me, but everytime they happen I think that it could be the end! And I am only 24!
I hope we all find relief soon!
