my hands are cold most of the time, I don't really notice my feet as much - but my hubby tells me that they are cold too.

Sometimes my hands get that cold they tingle. I try not to worry about it.

Hey, my hands and feet are always freezing. People have told me that it may be due to poor circulation. I am not sure if that is anxiety-related or not. I suppose it could be, assuming anxiety affects the heart which, in turn, affects circulation. Just a theory.

Not sure what causes it but I have only noticed it since being diagnosed with anxiety.
My doctor reckons that I have probably had cold hands and feet my entire life but I am only aware of it now because I am aware of all my symptoms, because as we all know anxiety makes as so much more concious of what our body is doing.

I have the same problem. I keep socks on all the time. As for the hands do a few minutes of deep breathing through your stomach not your chest. Push your stomach out as much as you can when you in hale and you will warm up in 2-4 minutes. My hands freeze almost and get anxious and chest pain comes my hands get sweaty due to fear :p

Hi there all, thank goodness I am not the only one . Sorry that we all suffer from the same thing though. My doctor told me that it is the adrenaline rush that makes the heart beat faster so it sends the blood elsewhere and it cannot do you any harm, weird feeling though.

My hands and feet are always cold too .... freezing sometimes. I always thought it was bad circulation or as a result of my problems with eating ...... but this is an interesting theory!

OMG! Thanks! I seriously thought I had poor circulation too, but I would find that I was ALL warm and cozy when waking in the morning. Then, if I had anxiety during the day...would start getting cold hands and feet. I usually keep socks and slippers on my feet. I don't notice my hands as much, but that is b/c I have a 2 year old and she keeps me busy playing dolls and such. Have any of you noticed weird "cool" feelings when breathing too?? That has happened to me lately and dunno if it is anxiety or maybe my pressure is up?? Could also be hormones, although I am only 27.

Hi there, I sometimes get a cold nose and it feels as though I am breathing in ice cold air . My nose also goes numb after that, but I have found that not paying to much attention to it makes it go away. I also think tha as anxiety sufferers we tend to make weird facial expressions and that makes the muscles go numb to. Do not know about the icy air but hey it could not get any weirder than it already is.:)
