Whenever I swallow I hear a noise in my ears its like a crackling noise. It is sometimes low, sometimes really high, sometimes triggers a whole bunch of crackling noises at once.

What is this? Went to ENT he said he doesn't know what it is but no infection or hearing loss.

can be from myoclonus of the middle ear or eustacian tube.....i have it and its very annoying.

Thanks for your reply. I see a lot of people seem to have ear noises and the doctors don't know what really cause it the majority of the time

I had the exact same thing and it was put down to fluid in the Eustachian tube I think. I just let it run its course and thankfully it's gone now.
