Hi, iv wondered for some time now if i have a Anxiety Disorder. Havnt thought much about it but just now I had a realy bad atack for no aparent reason. My atacks consist of: Rapid heart beat/pounding heart; Shaky breath; sweaty hands; slight dizziness/light headed; Shaking/trembling. I am also unable to sleep until it goes away, witch can take a while sometimes. Latly I havnt been sleeping goood, Ill sleep 8 hours and wake up exausted. I havnt had an apitite (though i still make myself eat), iv been getting light headed/dizzy, cant consintrate, and I have breif episodes of rage or giddiness (those arnt as common, but I have noticed them increasing in ocurence).

Im not sure if its being caused by an Anxiety Disorder, Depresion (suspicion that i may have Depresion, what severety though I dont know), or if its all getting blown out of porportion because I havnt been sleeping good.

If theres anyone that has gone through this, or knows what im talking about I would greatly apriciate any information you could provide.

I get the rapid heartbeat, along with pounding, skipping beats you name it. I get terrible hotflashes that make me vomit. Sounds like you got anxiety. I take Ativan and it helps my heart alot. Now i just gotta control the hotflashes and vomiting, and the incoming depression that i am starting to feel because of all of this. It all makes you feel like you are going crazy and losing touch with reality, and will never be the same. But my psych told me yesterday that with in time 'this will all be a distant memory'. That helped me hearing that.

Hi there I get the terrible hot flushes and want to climb into a freezer and live there. I also get sweating hands that feel they are dripping. I wash them regularly. Dizzy to I think my meds are not strong enough to help me over the hedge. I also get really tense muscles that ache and so do my hands and feet, probabaly from tension. Do not know anymore?

Unfortunately as far as meds go they are all trial and error. What meds are you currently taking?
