Ever since I've had anxiety, I haven't been able to feel that normal feeling of nervousness... now, in any situation that I normally would, it always turns into overwhelming anxiety. Can I ever feel that way again without it turning on me? For instance... going out on a date, I would normally be nervous... as a lot of people would. It was never a horrible feeling... it was always a "good nervous". I could always deal with it. Now I feel like I won't ever date again because of my anxiety. I can't imagine ever feeling nervous without this horrible anxiety following. I feel like if I ever get rid of my anxiety, I will still have to avoid any situations that would make me nervous to prevent triggering it back again.
