the other day, i was sitting at my computer and i was scratching my leg, and i felt a little tiny lump on my shin. it's almost like a cyst, like it's water-filled or something. i can move it around and it's freaking me out. i keep thinking i have cancer or something. my friend died of ewings sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, and it started out with a tumor on his bone. i'm scared that this is what this is. i'm planning on going to the dr on friday, but for the time being, im scared. help :(

Here is some helpful advice, b/c I thought I had cancer at one point too...Cancer is NOT moveable!!! That is what my doc told me. So, if you can move it, it is probably fine. May just be an infected area, or could be any number of things, but I wouldn't worry too much about Cancer. PLUS>>>it will probably be gone by Friday. Today...the back of my neck is really itchy. I am trying to let it go. Relating it to a gel I haven't used in my hair for a long time...dunno. But if it doesn't go away in a day or so...then I can be concerned. I too worry about medical things. They can be the easiest to worry about. The sides of my legs are constantly sore, and I too worry about cancer, so if it gets worse, I will def check it out. Don't worry though, that really doesn't sound like anything more than a small cyst, which are very common, and often caused by nothing. Good luck, let us know what the doc says. :angel:
