Well, I had 3 biopsies and ECC done on Tues for CIS that was reported on 2 Pap smears (first Pap 7/06). The doc called me yesterday (QUITE QUICK response, I think) with the results - NO INVASION! I am RELIEVED of the news. It was nice to actually sleep last night without so many worries...:) They are calling to set up the LEEP - to have done within the next 2 weeks.

Excellent news for you! I go for my colposcopy and ECC today. Fingers crossed everything comes back ok although I doubt I'll have my results as quickly as you did.

Who knows, maybe you will get your results quickly!?! I hope so as I PROMISE it relieves LOTS of tension not having to play that long waiting game. The OB-GYN told me that it would take two weeks but I didn't argue when she called me back the next day! Maybe you could ask your doc what is the soonest the results could get in. When I had my appointment I wasn't even planning on the ECC, but I am guessing she did it due to the fact that the lesion covered 1/3 of the surface of my cervix. But anyhow, I hope for all the best for you.
