I've been suffering from anorexia, bulimia, COE>>> for ever now. over the past 6 months i've been on the road to recovery, but am still very confused. i'm at that point where i want to be as healthy and normal as possible and really want it to last. i have no idea what a normall amount of food consuption is. i have no idea what is too many carb blah blah blah....
i think i accually forgot how to eat. the only thing i know about food is the caloric value. could any one give me any guide lines???...i really don't want to have to go back to a another damn nutritionalist!

i'm 18, 5"5 and 105 pounds... thank you!

hi, you should talk to your doctor, they can set you up on a diet specific to you without the nutritionist, or at least give you an idea of what you should be eating. my mom's a nurse and she has always told me that she can get me papers with dietary guidelines on them, i have never gotten to see them, so i can't tell you what they have on them, but your doctor should have some better idea of papers similar to those. nutritionalists are good, but a primary care physician is better because they are aware of your medical history, etc. good luck, i would like to hear back from you at some point http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
