I opted for surgery in 2005 given a PSA of 4.2, a Gleeson of 3+4 and an estimate of 15% in both sides. Post op results confirmed the preop estimates, with no evidence of PC on the surfaces, or any surrounding tissues and lympnodes. Extremely pleased and releaved but recurring PSA of 0.6 a year later popped up which led me to have radiation of the surgerical area. Three months later my current PSA is 1.1.
The question now is what course to take. The most aggressive track would be to combine hormone and taxotere treatment -- does anyone have any experience with this therapy? Another therapy course is enhancing the immune system through nutrician and or vaccines -- does anyone have any experience with this therapy?
Thanx in advance
