Hi I posted on the utrine board, but guess it maybe the wrong board for help. I am very scared at the moment, I have had problem with bleeding for a few years, but still have regular periods if that makes sense.
My history is several biopsy and removal of cancer cell many years ago, and have had alot of cysts on ovaries. When I went to Doc's about the bleeding when it first started, she for some reason decided to tell me it was menopause, even though my hormonal reading was normal and had no problems with regular period or any symptoms of menopause and to young as well.
Recently bleeding has changed, before it was quite dark and light flow, now it is quite heavy and more red in colour. My abdomim in very tender to touch and you can see some sort of lump or swelling, I seem to have fever and im struggling to eat, if I touch my stomach i want to be sick. Bleeding never stops. Last two smears came back abnormal, but when questioned it, i was told that this happens at times, so I said but what about my history, and i'm told again nothing to worry about.
I live on my own, and have been that way for many years, if you know what i mean.
Went to Doc's last week, and he did not even examine my stomach, told me to come back for smear and that need scan, which I have to wait for, he said i probably have fibrods or cyst.
If anyone has anything to help me please let me know, thanks:wave:

I'm so sorry you're going through this! My issues are different, so from a personal perspective I'm little help to you. But I did want to tell you that I hope you can see another doctor soon who will talk to you in more detail about your symptoms and hopefully get to the bottom of your problem.

I'll be thinking about you...

Given your history, if I were you, I would definitely take a more proactive approach and seek a second opinion. Sorry to hear of your difficulty and I hope you get the necessary answers soon, very soon. Good luck and keep us posted.
