Sorry I have never heard of that combination.
I've heard of some drugs that cause some PD's to be compulsive gamblers.

Busygirl, I have had PD since 1996. In 1998, I was started on pramipexole and the same month I started gambling compulsively. I lost everything: wife, job, car, was homeless for six years until a neurologist at the VA told me about the connection between pramipexole and compulsive gambling. In 2004, I was taken off that medication. At the same time, I entered a residential rehabilitation program for compulsive gamblers at the Brecksville, OH VA Hospital. I have not gambled since January 25, 2004.

I currently take Senemet SA 25/100 and Senemet 25/100 four times a day and Amantadine 100mg three times a day and my tremors are well controlled.

There is a book out entitled PSYCHIATRIC ISSUES IN PARKINSON'S DISEASE A practical guide edited by Menza and Marsh. 2006 Taylor & Francis, London&NY.
{removed} Though it is expensive (still in hardback) is is worth every penny as it covers many symptoms that even health care specialists are frequently not very informed about.

hi my father in law has had pd for 4 years and also had gambling addiction since being put on medication. He has never gambled in his life before until then. His wife doesn`t know what to do and neither do the doctors. He has started sneeking and telling lies and its destoying their marriage. My husband and myself find ourselves stuck in the middle and have no idea how to help.
My father in law has also started to act strange in other ways and is very possesive of his wife. Im on this forum to find out as much info as i can too!
