Remember me? My husband had a mysterious illness about 2 years ago and his levels have been high ever since.
WELL, we went in today, and his levels were lower!!! Not normal yet, but lower than they have ever been. We can't prove anything, but we haven't been eating ANY cholesterol (basically went vegan) and supposedly that gives the liver less to work on (so it can devote more energy to healing). He has high cholesterol too - well, last time we checked.
So, yay! We are still going to see the liver guys at Yale (of all places) as soon as he can beg our way in there.
Here are the levels:
Billy: .6
AP: 207
AST: 44
ALT: 96

Nice work!
The reduction of meat intake and more fresh fruit and veg also has an impact because of the lower fat intake.
Keep it up!
