I know there are many of you out there with memory problems due to epilepsy or the surgery. I had a right temporal lobectomy in 1994. Unfortunately it was not a success. Over time my seizures became worse. So did my memory. My long term is intact, its the short term that is the problem. Ask me what I did 20 years ago just don't ask me about yesterday. I was never controlled by any medications. I tried many. I carry a note book in my pocket to write things down to remember. My problem is I forget to look in the note book! My mother suggested that I should put one on a chain around my neck. I think she just might have something there! My question is does anyone with memory problems have any suggestions to what else I could do that would help? Some days are worse than others.Unfortunately lately have been worse. THANKS!
