About a week and a half ago, I had sex with a friend of mine who is supposedly clean (hasn't had sex since she broke up with her serious boyfriend a little while back) but the condom broke during. Last friday I got pretty sick, but EVERYONE around here has been sick lately so it wasn't really out of the blue. On monday I woke up and had all the telltale signs of pink eye and I thought I had read something about how it may be a symptom of chlamydia. I'm very worried because I don't want to pass it on to someone else so I'm wondering if this is the case. I don't have any burning during urination or itching, at least not yet. I was told it takes a couple weeks for chlamydia to show so I guess I still have a little while left to wait before I know.
How common is it to get pink eye from chlamydia? Can someone please give me more information on this subject? I've searched on the internet and there isn't that much detail on Chlamydial Conjuctivitis. Is it possibly another STD? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
