I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and have been reading everything I can on the subject, but I still can't find anything that sounds like my seizures. I wake up in the night feeling sick and dizzy, then I feel like a can't breathe,there's an incredible pressure in my head, and everything goes black. It basically feels exactly like passing out. I regain conciousness drenched in sweat, very weak, and thirsty. I usually feel exhausted for a full day or two afterwards. Has anyone else had seizures like these?

Is that all that happens? Is anyone there with you? Do you have any convulsions? You described everything that my husband has but he goes into a grand-mal. He told me that if he was alone, he wouldn't remember any of it but he would feel the after effects you described.
