I'm on a course of Antihistamines from the doctor. There is no longer any crackling, swelling or itching in my middle-ear space. Not fixing my eustachian tubes yet but certainly is much easier to live with. Sleeping a bit better now too.

Doc told me to take one every day for 3-4 weeks. I wonder though, if they don't fix the problem but only make it easier to live with, how long can I take them after that long term?

I am surprised there has been no reply to this thread...has anyone else tried antihistamines?
