I had surgery for BPH 2 months ago. This was conducted after I had multiple UTI's and a PSA of 2.7. The surgery was succesfull. However I am now beginning to get some slight stiffness in my lower back. Am I being paranoid or could this be a symptom of something more sinister. I have an appointment with my specialist in 10 weeks. Should I wait till then of go sooner. This is my first post and after reading some other peoples problems I feel a bit of a woos.

Thanks in anticipation:dizzy:

Whether to consult your specialist soon could depend on your overall profile, pathology / biopsy results.

It sounds as if your specialist felt you had no cause for short term concern at the time.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I've decided to go to my GP and have a quick check on my PSA levels. This was not done after the BPH surgery. As you say my Uroligst seemed not to be too concerned. How ever I cannot handle the waiting.
