I am on my second set of ear tubes in two months (37 years old). This set seems to be working out better, however, I have noticed that I can "blow" air out of my left ear!!!! I was blowing my nose and felt air coming out of my ear. Then later that day when putting in some ear drops, I could taste them! Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I am calling my doctor first thing Monday but thought I might get some input here.

When I ruptured my ear drum.. I had the ability for mass drainage in both directions. However, the ruptured ear drum was extremely painful and took a long time to heal. Hopefully you do not have something similar.
