Hi there. I am 24 and I had my second LEEP for CIS III a little over 2 weeks ago. One day earlier this week I started to bleed very heavily, like soaking through 2-3 pads an hour or more. I called my doctors office and went right to the ER. I was only able to see the ER physician and he applied some monsols and I was sent home. It was painful and stressful and I didn't feel like the doctor understood what was going on. I stayed in bed as instructed Well the same thing happened yesterday, HEAVY bleeding and clotting. I went to the ER again, this time I was able to see an OBGYN physican and they told me what's happening is because of the severe dysplasia my cells are not healing on their own. I had to go into surgery, was put under some general anethesia, and the wound was cauterized. That was last night and so far so good (keeping my fingers crossed.) Anyway, I have an appointment with a Gynecologist Oncologist tomorrow to find out what happens next since my 2nd LEEP did not take care of the CIN III.

Just wondering, has anyone else gone through post LEEP complications similar to this? My first LEEP went as good as can be expected but since this one it's been nothing but problems and has been emotionally draining.

Also, has anyone else been diagnosed with CIN III that wasn't taken care of by the LEEP? I am not sure what to expect when I see the oncologist tomorrow. :confused:

I haven't had LEEP. I'm waiting for my biopsy results. I am sorry you are going through all that though, and wish the best for you. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. :)
