I was wondering. About 6 years ago I was sexulay assulted. I had a HIV test it was negatitive. I have had no issues and no symptoms! Do you think that by now there would be? If so what would they be? Any help would be great.

i believe it takes 3 months for the hiv antibodies to form in your body which is what they are looking for when you have a hiv test. As long as the test was taken at least 3 months after your assault and it was negative you'll be fine. If it was done before that you might want to have a repeat test just to put your mind at rest.

I took the test 3 years later so I guess that part is ok then! But I am still worried about all the other STDs out there by now do you think I would have some kind of symptoms? And if so what do you think they might be? I am so scard but I am so glad that there are people out there who can help! Thanks

As long as you have no symptoms that you are worried about, you should be fine. Things like soreness, discharge or itchiness can be signs of an STI and can easily be treated. I know this sounds easy but if you have none of these don't worry. Perhaps it would help if you talked to someone professionally about your assault, that might help to put any anxiety you have to rest, take care
