Im am a newbie to this board but not to all message boards. How are you all? I came here because I am miserable. I am experience taste disturbances from Lamisil tabs that I was taking to cure a toenail fungus. I noticed my taste loss about 1 1/2 months after taking the meds. I immediately stopped the meds.It will be 5 weeks since this happend and my taste has not returned. I spoke with my dr and he told me there was nothing he could do. He had to call me back b/c he didn't know this could happen. This was during week 3 after stopping lamisil. Will this be perminate or will it just take lots of time for it all to leave my system. I am really miserable because food has a weird taste and I've lost my appetite. Therefore I am losing weight. Does anyone have an advice or hope for me? Thanks in advance for your help.
I spoke with my dr again today and he is refering me to an ENT. Hopefully something will work. Does anyone have any advice?
