i didn't see a thread on this so i decided to bring one up......

anybody abuse drugs [either legal or illegal] or alcohol while living with an eating disorder?

just wondering.....

I've never abused anything, but I've taken diet pills. Guess that don't count tho.. I followed directions. lol

Only diet pills. I have taken those till I was sick to my stomach and throwing up! Another common one is smoking, but I have never tried that.

I abused laxitives and totally screwed my system. Bad stuff man. Don't do it.

I sturggled with addiction as well. When I was in treatment for my ED there were a couple of us who had struggled with other addictions.
