Okay i've posted a thread already about me changing birth controls, and now i have a new problem. I am on the "sugar pills" as you would say and im not on my period- do i need to worry? i never missed a pill and i read the pamphlet and it said to just start like i would start a new pack. It didnt say i needed back up methods of birth control or anything- NOW im freaking out because ive had unprotected sex, and now no period....Oh my gosh! Im like stressing so bad because i have not missed a pill and i went straight from one pill to the other without a break or anything! OH GOSH!!! Am i in trouble?? ANy and ALL advice would be appreciated!! -Rebecca

Hey girl!
I know how you feel the same exact thing happened to me, i went on the pill and did not have my period for two months. I donno why but i guess just different people react differently. I really did think i was pregnate i took like 9 test and all of them came up negative and i still thought i was because my period had not come. But then i went to go see my doctor she gave me a blood test to see if i was and she told me i was not and that everyone reacts differently when they change their birth control. My suggestion to you would be to take a test and go see your doctor. But dont stress too much!

well like i said ive been on birth control for like 2 years and I HAVE NEVER MISSED A DAY, and like i usually use a condom as well, but SOMETIMES you just dont have one-but i just didnt know if i was supposed to miss one or not-when i was changing prescriptions-its just a little frustrating! Im in college and ive got finals coming up and i REALLY dont want to stress out right now- but you said that your doctor said that sometimes you'll miss a period when you change bcp? thank you you've been a lot of help!-Rebecca
