I am find that during sex with my partner recently I am getting hot flushes (my face goes very red indeed). I guess this must not sound so abnormal but it is something that has never happened to me until this year.
I do suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and wonder if I am overdoing it, and at the back of my mind is the dred aof expiring with a heart attack.
My concern deepened recently when I woke in the night with the same overheating sensation. I had smoked my first cigarette for a year having quit (I know, I know and I am back on the wagon) that evening.
Should I be worried about these 'flushes'?

Check your blood pressure immeditely afterwards? Sometime hypertension causes the red face look.
Does a steamroom or a set of bench presses affect you the same way?

I do have slighlty raised dystolic (sp.?) blood pressure, Lenin, but nothing serious. I haven't noticed the flushing on doing serious exercise, but I don't do a lot. Ditto steam rooms, but I will monitor the situations in future and maybe invest in a blood pressure gauge.

Frequent fluushing is a prelude to rosacea so DO take it seriously, as I'm sure you are.
I am a flusher as was my mother...and we both share the same heart disease, AND my father developed roacea so I take the flushing VERY seriously.
