Hi guys I am so confused about 5 years ago after washing my hair i suddenly could not hear well form my right ear, anyway I have gone to ent doctors and they say everything is ok, they really didn't do much, and I feel a lot of pressure on that side and it prevents me from hearing well i feel as if my ear is clogged, anyway i have learned to live with that. i try to pop my ears but they never could pop.

however last night I was awoken by a very loud sound in my ear it was strange and it has never happened before it sounded like a loud ocean sound, and like water was trying to come out.. then i felt a lot of pressure and a screeching noise, it felt like the water wanted to come out and couldnt?i dont know what to do i am positive that there is water in my ear, but i am not sure what doctors do for this, is there anything over the counter i can buy for this, or is the water so deep that only a doctor can resolve this, also is there any danger with that water being stuck in there, I am a but scared let me know thanks

If the problem is due to inner ear fluid.. decongestants and anti-histamines are the treatment prescribed by the ENT's with nasal steriodal sprays for specific cases.

If the problem is in the external ear, rinse you ear out with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol. This will push out the water and then evaporate.

If none of the above combinations works, you may have an infection and need additional anti-biotics.

Sincerely,
MG
