Does anyone have a lump in the throat feeling due to enlarged tonsils?

Sponsor mkgbrook 11-27-2006, 11:43 AM Well I used to have that constant lump in ther throat feeling.. but as of October 17th, I am tonsil free and haven't had a "lump in the throat feeling" since all of my scabs shed. I'm thinking about getting my tonsils removed only if my ENT recommends it but I'm sure it would help a great deal. mkgbrook 11-28-2006, 12:26 AM Well I am feeling great now.. I have not showed anysign of illness yet.. knock on wood, but my tonsils came out six weeks ago. Normally I would have had another sinus infection in this time, but so far so good. The recovery is not easy, but it is managable. In the LisaMP repost stickied at the top of the page, I have journaled my first two weeks of recovery after my tonsillectomy. Even with my complications.. I would do it again. My son had his out in mid-May. He normally got a sinus or ear infection every or every other month. Since his surgery, he has only had one infection. So it seems to have greatly aided him. |
