Hello. Over a year ago, a horse stepped on my toe and broke the toenail. The toenail is still cracked and purple, and I am wondering if it will ever grow back. Thank you.

If it has been this long and the nail plate is growing in cracked, chances are that the horse permanently damaged the matrix.
