They run in my family, my physician seems to think I have chronic sinus infections, arthritis in my neck, and tension headaches. One side of my neck will hurt radiating into my head. The pain is mostly in the back of my head always on one side. I will feel nauseated, and my eye will feel like it is going to pop right out of my head. I am noise sensitive, but not light sensitive. And the only trigger I have found so far is certain perfumes, but they occur without the trigger as well. I get them atleast 4 days a week. The only thing that eases the pain is about 4 darvocet 650mgs each. And that just dulls it, it doesn;t go away. Sometimes they last a couple of days. I think maybe I need to see a neurologist.

Hi there. It sounds like migraine to me. The symptoms you describe are exactly like i have. I only get migraine attacks about 3-4 times a year but they can be bad enough to knock you off your feet. I tried imigran once but discovered i was allergic to them and it wasn't a very nice experience so i am dubious about taking anything, i usually just take to my bed.
I hope you get the help that you need. Good luck :)

Hi, I'm new here. Can I ask you, when you get these headaches, do you get the pain over one eye?
