Hey everyone,
My cousin died of Marfan's Disease 2 years ago. He was only 24. Apparently this is a genetic disease and I only found out recently due to the genetics people at our local hospital wanting the whole family to be tested for it. Now I'm getting really worried. They want me to come in for an echocardiogram. It turns out that one of my other cousins has a similar heart disorder. She is my the half sister of my cousin that died. There probably isn't anything wrong with me, but I can't help worrying.

The sooner you schedule your appt., the less time you'll have to worry. Like you said, you are probably fine, but whenever there's a doubt you should always check it out.
